Metalwork is at the heart of my jewellery. I work with copper and sterling silver, using traditional techniques to anneal, shape, hammer and texture the metal by hand.
The marks and subtle variations created through the process mean every piece has its own character — made by hand, not by the thousand.
It often starts with a doodle.
Many of my patterns begin as little hand-drawn doodles — wonky lines, spots, shapes and marks that are then developed into designs for my jewellery.
I love taking something that started as a quick sketch and turning it into a completely different form of wearable art.
Traditional craft meets modern making.
Alongside copper and sterling silver, I use laser cutting and engraving to bring my drawings and ideas to life.
It lets me experiment with shape, pattern, transparency and colour, before combining the finished elements with my hand-worked metal and assembling each piece at my workbench.
